The 60 Series was Toyota's answer to a question nobody else was asking: what if a station wagon could climb mountains? The FJ60 and FJ62 took families across continents, survived decades of daily abuse, and are now more collectible than ever. This hoodie features custom-illustrated FJ60 artwork printed in-house at our Yerington, NV shop. Two colorways: a red 60 Series on Grey Frost, and a desert tan 60 Series on Baked Clay. Built on the District V.I.T. DT6150, a 10 oz heavyweight fleece with a drop-shoulder oversized fit that actually keeps you warm in the garage, on the trail, or through a Nevada winter.

Why This Hoodie

We chose the District V.I.T. as the blank for our premium hoodie line because nothing else at this price point comes close on weight and feel. At 10 oz (340 GSM), this is a genuine heavyweight. The interior is a brushed 3-end fleece (ring-spun cotton and recycled polyester) that feels broken-in from the first wear. The exterior is smooth enough to take a clean print.

The fit is modern oversized with drop shoulders. Not boxy, not slim. It layers over a flannel or tee without looking bulky, and the double-layer one-piece hood (no drawcord) keeps the silhouette clean. If you wrench on trucks, the no-drawcord design means nothing dangling into an engine bay.

Common Questions

How does the oversized fit run?

It's a true oversized/drop-shoulder fit, not just a bigger regular hoodie. If you normally wear a Large and want the intended relaxed streetwear look, get a Large. If you prefer a more traditional fit, size down one. The heavyweight fleece has minimal shrinkage.

What does "V.I.T." mean?

V.I.T. stands for "Very Important Tee" (District's premium line designation). The DT6150 is their heavyweight fleece hoodie, made with ring-spun cotton and recycled polyester in a 3-end fleece construction. It's a step above standard blanks like Gildan Heavy Blend in both weight and softness.

Why no drawcord on the hood?

The no-drawcord design is intentional for a cleaner look. It also means nothing dangling while you're wrenching, welding, or working around machinery. The double-layer hood holds its shape on its own.

Is this printed or embroidered?
