Pick Perform when the garment has to look polished. The stretch French terry has a flat, smooth face and a little give, so a quarter-zip holds its shape over a collared shirt and still moves when someone is setting up a booth or walking a job site. It reads closer to golf and athleisure than to a sweatshirt, which is why it suits sales teams, front-desk staff, financial offices and anyone meeting clients.

Pick the SS4600QZ when you need range or volume. It is traditional brushed fleece, it comes in far more colors than the four Perform core colors, and it costs less per piece. For a 150-person company event or a school staff order, it is usually the smarter buy.

A common split we quote: Perform quarter-zips for leadership and client-facing staff, SS4600QZ for everyone else, with the same embroidered logo on both.

How We Decorate Perform Fabric

Stretch fabric needs a little more care than fleece. We keep logos to a moderate stitch count, use a stabilizer that holds the fabric flat while it stitches, and favor tone-on-tone or one or two thread colors for a clean, expensive look. Your price is the blank plus decoration, quoted all-in per piece. Two real examples from our quoting system, with a 6,000-stitch left-chest logo:

• 24 EXP20PQ quarter-zips: $24.16 each all-in, plus a one-time $18.99 digitizing fee.
• 48 EXP25PH Perform hoods: $26.63 each all-in, plus the same one-time $18.99 digitizing fee.
