Short answer: a Bella+Canvas 3001 medium measures 20″ across the chest (laid flat) and 29″ long. The 3501 long sleeve uses the same chest and length in every size. The 3719 hoodie is cut 1 1/2″ wider, so a medium is 21 1/2″ across. Bella+Canvas calls the 3001 a tailored, classic fit with unisex sizing. It wears trimmer than a heavyweight tee, so size up if you like room.

Every number below comes from Bella+Canvas spec sheets, in inches, with distributor spec sheets filling gaps where noted. Chest is a flat half measure taken one inch below the armhole, so double it for the full chest. Body length runs from the high point of the shoulder to the hem. Expect a little variation from shirt to shirt: S&S Activewear lists a tolerance of plus or minus 1/2″ on the 3501 and 3/4″ on the 3001Y.

Bella+Canvas lists the 3001 as 4.2 oz, 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, side-seamed with shoulder taping (Ash is 99% cotton, 1% poly). Ask us about blends in other colors. The S&S Activewear 3719 spec table and the Blankstyle BC3719 sheet both list the hoodie in XS to 3XL, with 3XL at 29 1/2″ across and 32″ long. Second, S&S lists the chest 1/4″ narrower from M to 2XL (21 1/4″ in a medium). The table uses the Bella+Canvas numbers. Ask us to confirm 3XL before you order.

The spec sheet lists the 3719 as a cotton/poly fleece in two blends, 60/40 and 90/10, depending on color. Body length runs shorter than the 3001 tee: 27 1/2″ in a medium versus 29″. We do not stock it as a listed product, but we can order it: custom hoodies in bulk.

• The 3001 is a retail cut. Lighter fabric and a trimmer drape than a heavyweight tee. Size up if your crew likes a loose fit.
• The 3501 matches the 3001. Same chest and length in every size, just with sleeves.
• The 3719 hoodie is wider and shorter. About 1 1/2″ wider than the tee in each size and 1 1/2″ shorter in a medium.
• Youth sizes go by age range. A YXL is 18 1/4″ across, wider than an adult XS (16 1/2″) but about 2 1/2″ shorter.
