What happens next is the same for every file: we check it, clean it up for the method you picked, and send you a proof before anything is made. Embroidery files are hand-digitized into a stitch file (from $16.99, one time, kept for reorders). If an AI image needs to be redrawn as clean vector for screen printing, our design team quotes that before starting.
How to prompt for artwork that prints well
- Ask for a flat logo, not a mockup. "Flat vector-style logo, front view, solid colors, transparent background" gives us something we can print. A photo of a logo on a 3D hat does not.
- Limit colors for screen printing. Each ink color is its own $20 screen. Ask the model for 1 to 4 solid colors and no gradients. Full-color art with gradients is better as DTF.
- Keep lettering bold for embroidery. Small, thin text does not stitch well. Ask for thick, simple lettering and a design that still reads at 2 to 4 inches wide on a hat front.
- Export at full size. Send the largest file the tool offers. Aim for 300 DPI at the printed size, about 3,600 pixels wide for a 12-inch front print.
- Check the details. AI images often misspell words or add stray marks. Read every letter before you send it; your proof approval covers the spelling.

Yes. Send the highest-resolution PNG the tool gives you, or a vector file if you have one. We check it, prepare it for screen printing, embroidery, DTF or laser engraving, and send you a proof to approve before production.
Can AI artwork be embroidered?
Yes, once it is digitized into a stitch file, from $16.99 one time. Bold shapes and thick lettering stitch best. Photographic detail and gradients do not translate to thread, so we may simplify the design and show you on the proof.
Who owns AI-generated artwork I send you?
You are responsible for having the right to use it, the same as any artwork. Do not send AI images that copy another company's logo, a sports team or a character. We can decline artwork we believe infringes someone else's rights.
Can my AI assistant request a quote for me?
Yes. Assistants that support MCP can connect to our server at https://bb-quote-agent.sales-3f9.workers.dev/mcp and send a quote request with your name and email. Others can read our llms.txt file for the quote form fields. A person replies by email, usually within one business day.
Does an AI agent place or pay for the order?
No. An agent can only request a quote. You review the quote and the proof, approve them, and pay before any work starts.
