Custom Marmot M16076 Tempo Lightweight Jacket With Your Logo
Share
A custom Marmot jacket with your logo is a gift or uniform piece that people keep for a long time. The Marmot M16076 Men's Tempo Lightweight Jacket is a waterproof, breathable shell made from recycled polyester with stretch, so it moves with you on a job site, a trail or a windy golf course. Because it is waterproof, the decoration method matters more than it does on a polo or hoodie. The blank starts at $96.53. This guide explains the specs, the right way to add a logo, and how to order.
Specs that matter for decoration
- Fabric: 90/10 recycled polyester/elastane, waterproof and breathable.
- Lining: none. The inside of the shell is exposed, so anything we do on the outside can be seen from the inside.
- Pockets: zippered handwarmer pockets plus zippered internal and external chest pockets.
- Fit details: Lycra-bound cuffs and a drawcord hem.
- Sizes: S through 2XL (S, M, L, XL, 2XL).
- Colors: 3 options: Arctic Navy, Black and Cinder.
- Blank price: starts at $96.53 before decoration.
Three things drive the decoration plan: the waterproof construction, the stretch from the elastane, and the chest pocket. Each one rules out certain shortcuts that work fine on ordinary apparel.
Best decoration method
DTF transfers (recommended)
Embroidery needles punch holes through the fabric, and on a waterproof jacket every hole is a spot where water can get through. That is why our first recommendation for the Tempo is a DTF transfer. It bonds to the surface with heat and pressure instead of piercing it, stays flexible with the stretch fabric, and handles full-color logos and fine detail. We test heat settings on technical fabrics so the transfer bonds without damaging the shell. DTF has no minimum.
Embroidery (with a tradeoff)
Some customers still want the look of a stitched logo on a premium jacket, and that is a reasonable choice as long as you know the tradeoff: the jacket will lose some waterproofing right at the logo. If you go this route, we keep it to a small, clean left-chest logo with a moderate stitch count, and we use a magnetic hoop to avoid hoop burn (the shiny ring a standard hoop can leave on technical fabric). Since there is no lining, the backing will be visible inside the jacket; we trim it neatly. Embroidery has no minimum.
Screen printing
Screen printing is not usually our pick for a stretch waterproof shell. For a small number of jackets, DTF is the more practical route.
Placement suggestions
- Left or right chest: about 3.5–4 in wide. Check which side the external chest pocket is on; we place the logo so it does not cover the zipper or block pocket access.
- Upper back: a company name or website across the shoulders, about 8–10 in wide, as a DTF transfer.
- Sleeve: a small mark on the upper sleeve, around 2.5–3 in wide.
Who orders it
- Construction, mining and survey crews who deal with wind and surprise storms across Northern Nevada.
- Outdoor guides, resorts and recreation businesses around Lake Tahoe and the Sierra.
- Corporate teams looking for a premium executive or client gift.
- Golf events where a weather layer is more useful than another polo.
- Ag, ranch and utility companies that need a light shell for the truck.

Will embroidery ruin the waterproofing on the Marmot Tempo?
