Custom Realtree RT2101 Camo Performance T-Shirt With Your Logo
Share
If you want a custom Realtree camo shirt for your business, club or event, the Realtree RT2101 Unisex Poly Performance T-Shirt is the place to start. It is a lightweight performance tee in the Realtree APX pattern, with moisture management and UPF 30+ protection, so it is comfortable for long days outside. Camo polyester takes a little know-how to decorate, and getting the ink right is the difference between a crisp logo and one that turns muddy. Battle Born Clothing prints and embroiders it in-house in Yerington, Nevada, and ships anywhere in the US.

Best decoration method
The main thing to know about camo polyester is dye migration. The dyes used in polyester can move into ink when it is heated during curing. On a camo tee, that can tint a white or light logo with the browns and greens of the pattern. We plan for this from the start.
Screen printing with low-cure or bleed-blocker inks
Screen printing works on this shirt when the inks are chosen for polyester. We use low-cure inks or bleed-blocker underbases that stop the dye from coming up into your print. This is the way to go for larger runs of a one- or two-color design. Screen printing has no hard minimum, but we recommend 48+ pieces per design to make the setup worthwhile. Note that discharge printing and most water-based inks are made for cotton and are not a good match for 100% polyester, so we save those for cotton garments.
DTF transfers
DTF works very well on camo polyester. It applies at a temperature that is friendly to polyester, it handles full-color art and gradients, and it has no minimum. For small orders or detailed logos, DTF is often our first recommendation on this tee.
Embroidery
A small embroidered logo on the left chest is possible on 4.6 oz. interlock with a lightweight cutaway or no-show mesh backing and a moderate stitch count. It is less common on a tee than a print, but it gives a polished look for staff shirts.
Placement suggestions and caveats
- Left chest: About 3.5 to 4 in. wide for a small logo.
- Full front: Up to about 10 to 12 in. wide for a center chest design.
- Full back: A large back print, popular for events and outfitters.
- Sleeve: A small flag, date or web address.
- Contrast: Camo is busy, so thin lines and small text get lost. Bold shapes in white, blaze orange, black or a single strong color read best.
Who orders it
Camo performance tees are widely used by groups that live outdoors. In Northern Nevada and nationwide, common buyers include:
- Hunting outfitters and guides: Staff shirts and client gifts.
- Sporting goods and gun shops: Branded retail merchandise and staff shirts.
- Conservation groups and banquets: Event shirts and volunteer gear.
- Ranches, agriculture and outdoor crews: A light shirt with UPF 30+ for hot summer work.
- Fishing tournaments and 4x4 clubs: Event and member shirts.
Pair it with
For cooler weather, pair the tee with the Realtree RT5302 Unisex Realtree Performance Hooded Sweatshirt, a pullover in the same APX pattern, or the Realtree RT5201 Unisex Realtree Performance Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt if your team prefers a zip. See all three on our Realtree hub page, or browse all the brands we decorate.

FAQ
Will a white logo turn brown on a camo shirt?
It can if the wrong ink is used, because polyester dye can migrate into the print. We use low-cure or bleed-blocker inks, or DTF, to keep light colors clean.
What is the best method for a small order?
DTF is usually best for small runs on this tee. It has no minimum and handles full-color art well on polyester.
Can you do water-based or discharge printing on this shirt?
Those methods are made for cotton, so they are not a good fit for 100% polyester. We use polyester-friendly inks or DTF instead.
