Best decoration method

Two things shape decoration on this hoodie: the zipper down the center and the dye migration risk that comes with camo polyester. When heated, polyester dyes can bleed into ink and tint a light logo, so ink choice matters.

Embroidery on the left chest

Embroidery is the most common choice for a full-zip. A left-chest logo sits beside the zipper, and thread is not affected by dye migration. The smooth 6.5 oz. interlock holds detail better than a deep fleece pile, but the busy camo still hides tiny text, so we suggest keeping lettering bold. We back the area so it stays flat and keep the stitch count reasonable for the fabric.

Screen printing with polyester-safe inks

For a full-back design on a larger order, screen printing with low-cure or bleed-blocker inks keeps the camo dye out of the print. Screen printing has no hard minimum, but 48+ pieces per design is recommended. Discharge and most water-based inks are meant for cotton, so they are not a match for 100% polyester.

DTF transfers

DTF is a strong choice on camo polyester, handles full-color art and has no minimum. It is a good way to do a large back print on a small run.

Placement suggestions

• Left chest: About 3.5 to 4 in. wide, set clear of the zipper.
• Right chest: A name, title or second logo.
• Full back: The best spot for a large design, since the front is split by the zipper.
• Sleeve: A small mark or web address on the upper sleeve.

Caveats

• Center-chest designs do not work on a full-zip because the zipper runs through the middle. Put big art on the back.
• Keep chest logos away from the zipper tape and above the pouch pockets.
• On camo, bold shapes in white, blaze orange or black read best.

FAQ

Can I put a big logo on the front of a full-zip hoodie?

Not across the center, because the zipper splits the front. Use the left chest for your logo and put a large design on the back.

Will printing on camo polyester discolor my logo?

Not with the right inks. We use low-cure or bleed-blocker inks, or DTF, to prevent dye migration.

How long will my order take?
