Custom Spyder S16532 Freestyle Polo With Your Logo

Custom Spyder S16532 Freestyle Polo With Your Logo

A performance polo is the backbone of most company uniforms, and the Spyder S16532 Men's Freestyle Polo gives you a recognizable outdoor brand with a light, breathable feel. It looks right at a golf event, behind a sales counter or on a site walk-through, and it takes an embroidered logo on the left chest nicely when it is backed the right way. Battle Born Clothing embroiders it in-house in Yerington, Nevada, and ships it anywhere in the US.

Specs that matter for decoration

  • Fabric: 4.1 oz./yd², 100% polyester textured mesh. Light and stretchy, which is why backing choice matters.
  • Fit: Modern fit, a bit trimmer than a classic polo.
  • Placket: Spyder branded 3mm buttons.
  • Construction: Heat-seal tape set into the shoulder seams and side vents.
  • Factory branding: Spyder branding on the back right shoulder and the Spyder bug logo on the wearer's left sleeve.
  • Sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.
  • Colors: 5 options: Electric Blue, Frontier, Platinum, Polar and White.
  • Blank price: The blank starts at $28.55 before decoration.

Best decoration method

Embroidery is the go-to for polos. It looks professional, lasts through many washes and is what most people expect on a company shirt.

How we embroider thin performance polos

Thin polyester mesh moves and stretches, and that is where puckering comes from. We use a lightweight cutaway or no-show mesh backing that supports the stitches without leaving a heavy, stiff square behind your logo. We also keep the stitch count moderate. Big solid fills pack a lot of thread into light fabric, so for dense logos we may suggest a lighter fill or a slightly simplified version. On the textured surface, very small lettering can blur, so text at about a quarter inch tall or larger stitches best.

DTF transfers

DTF transfers work on 100% polyester and are a good fit for full-color logos, photos or gradients. DTF has no minimum, just like embroidery. Many customers embroider the chest and use DTF for a sponsor list or larger back design.

Placement suggestions

  • Left chest: The standard spot. A logo roughly 3.5 to 4 in. wide usually looks right on a polo.
  • Right chest: Good for a second logo, a department or an event name.
  • Right sleeve: A small mark or flag works here. The left sleeve already has the Spyder bug.
  • Back: Spyder branding sits on the back right shoulder, so we plan back art around it, often centered lower on the yoke.

Caveats

  • Keep the logo clear of the placket and buttons.
  • White and Polar show contrasting thread best; tone-on-tone thread on light colors can look very subtle.
  • The modern fit runs trim, so check sizes before ordering for a large team.

Who orders it

A branded Spyder polo is a popular corporate pick for teams that want a performance shirt with a name people know. Typical buyers include:

  • Golf tournaments and clubs: Player gifts, volunteer shirts and pro shop staff.
  • Construction and mining management: Office and field leadership who need a professional look that handles Northern Nevada heat.
  • Corporate teams: Sales staff, trade show crews and customer-facing employees.
  • Resorts and hospitality: Front desk, activities and retail staff in Reno, Tahoe and beyond.
  • Dealerships and service businesses: A clean uniform shirt for showroom and service advisors.

Pair it with

Pair the polo with the Spyder S16797 Men's Freestyle Half-Zip Pullover, which uses the same 4.1 oz. textured mesh, so your embroidered logo can match across both pieces. For winter, the Spyder 187333 Men's Pelmo Insulated Puffer Jacket adds a warm outer layer. You can see all of them on our Spyder hub page, or browse all the brands we decorate.

How to order

  • Request a quote. Fill out our quote request form with the style (S16532), colors, sizes and decoration. You can also call 775-230-0211 or email sales@battlebornclothing.com.
  • Send your artwork. Vector art gives the cleanest embroidery. Review our artwork requirements.

  • Production and delivery. Turnaround is about 21 days (three weeks) from an approved proof. Rush is quoted per job; see turnaround and rush orders. Pick up free in Yerington, or we ship anywhere in the US under our shipping policy.

Embroidery has no minimum, so you can order a few polos or outfit a whole company. Decoration prices are on our pricing page. If you are supplying your own polos, there is a $2 per item handling fee and you should expect about 4% spoilage. To see colors and sizes, visit the S16532 product page.

FAQ

What size should a left-chest logo be on this polo?

About 3.5 to 4 in. wide is typical. We fit the final size to your artwork and show it on the proof.

How do you keep embroidery from puckering on a thin polo?

We use a lightweight cutaway or no-show mesh backing and keep stitch counts moderate for the fabric.

Can I add a logo on the back?

Yes. Spyder branding sits on the back right shoulder, so we place back art to avoid it. DTF is a good option for larger back designs.
