Custom Fishing Shirts

Short answer: Yes, Battle Born Clothing makes custom fishing shirts. We embroider or DTF print your logo on real performance fishing shirts like the Columbia PFG Tamiami II, Paragon Kitty Hawk and Hatteras, CORE365 Ultra UVP Marina, HUK Tide Point and the Carhartt Force Sun Defender hooded tee. No minimum on embroidery or DTF, and standard production is 10–14 business days from your approved proof.

We decorate in Yerington, Nevada and ship nationwide. Tournament directors, guide services, charter captains and fishing clubs send us a logo, pick a shirt, and get back a mockup and a firm quote.

Fishing Shirts We Decorate

These styles come through our suppliers, S&S Activewear and SanMar. Sun ratings below are what the distributor lists for that exact style. Ask us for current colors, sizes and pricing.

Shirt What it is Listed sun rating Logo note
Columbia PFG Tamiami II, long sleeve (212467) and short sleeve (212468) Button-up vented fishing shirt, 100% polyester ripstop, rod-holder loop, roll-up sleeves UPF 40 (long sleeve 212467) Columbia puts a woven logo patch on the left chest, so your logo goes on the right chest, a sleeve or the back
Paragon Kitty Hawk, long sleeve (702) Button-down vented fishing shirt, 100% ripstop performance polyester, hook-and-loop rod holder UPF 40+ Chest or back yoke logo. We check placement against the placket and vents on your proof
Paragon Hatteras, short sleeve (700) Short-sleeve version of the same build, rod holder and back shoulder vents UPF 40+ Has chest pockets, so we place the logo above a pocket or on the back
CORE365 Ultra UVP Marina (CE510, women's CE510W) Polyester/spandex ripstop button-up with mesh lining in the upper back UPF 50+ Tear-away label. Left chest logo works well
HUK Tide Point Pocket Fishing Shirt (H150172) Lightweight 100% polyester button-down with a laser-perforated back panel UPF 30+ HUK logo sits at the left chest pocket, so plan on the right chest or sleeve
Carhartt Force Sun Defender Long Sleeve Hooded T-Shirt (CT106923) Hooded long sleeve tee, 4-ounce 100% polyester jersey, thumbholes UPF 50+ Prints and embroiders like a tee. Great for crews and DTF back prints

Columbia sets the advertised price of its shirts, and we follow that. Want a cap to match? The Decky 450 fisherman's hat and our custom bucket hats and trucker hats pair well with a fishing shirt.

How We Decorate Fishing Shirts

Fishing shirts are thin polyester, often ripstop, often with vents and pockets. That steers the decoration choice.

Method Best for Notes
Embroidery Left or right chest logo, sleeve logo, guide or captain name The classic look for guides and charters. We digitize for light fabric and stabilize the shirt so it doesn't pucker. Keep logos moderate in size.
DTF transfers Full-color logos, sponsor blocks, big back prints, tournament art Full color with no screen fees and no minimum. Good for mixed sizes and short runs.
  • Watch the vents. Many fishing shirts have a mesh-lined vent across the upper back. A big back print has to sit below it, not across it.
  • Watch the brand marks. Columbia and HUK put their own logos on the left chest. We plan your logo around them on the proof.
  • Keep it light. A huge, heavy stitch on a thin shirt feels stiff in the heat. For big art, DTF is usually the better call.

Every embroidered logo is digitized once, from $16.99. See embroidery digitizing for details.

Who Orders Custom Fishing Shirts

  • Fishing tournaments. Angler shirts with the event logo on the chest and sponsors across the back in DTF. Order by registration and add extras in the middle sizes.
  • Guide services. An embroidered left chest logo and the guide's name on the right chest looks sharp in client photos.
  • Charters. Matching crew shirts for the captain and deckhands, plus a retail run for clients who want one after the trip.
  • Fishing clubs and teams. Club logo on the chest, member names on the sleeve or yoke, and a matching hat.

Need cold-water gear too? See custom Columbia jackets. Giving shirts as sponsor thank-yous? Add engraved tumblers or custom koozies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do custom fishing shirts have UPF sun protection?
Many do. The distributor lists UPF 40 for the Columbia PFG Tamiami II long sleeve, UPF 40+ for Paragon Kitty Hawk and Hatteras, UPF 50+ for CORE365 Ultra UVP Marina and the Carhartt Force Sun Defender hooded tee, and UPF 30+ for HUK Tide Point. Ask us about any other style.

Can you embroider on a fishing shirt?
Yes. We embroider chest, sleeve and yoke logos on polyester fishing shirts and stabilize the fabric so the logo lies flat.

What is the best way to put sponsor logos on tournament shirts?
DTF transfers. They print full color with no screen fees, so a back full of sponsor logos is no problem. Keep the print below any back vent.

Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum on embroidery or DTF, so a guide service can order a few shirts and a tournament can order hundreds.

How long do custom fishing shirts take?
Standard production is 10–14 business days from your approved proof, plus shipping.
